Born and raised in Iowa, Christine has made her home in Scottsdale for more than 20 years. Hiking, kayaking and time outside are essential parts of both her life and creative process.

She earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration from Drake University, where classical pencil drawing became the foundation of her work. After more than a decade owning a mural and furniture design business, she returned to the drawing board full-time.

Over the past decade, Christine has designed and licensed artwork for hundreds of products worldwide.

I balance representational imagery with thoughtful texture and detail. My work often, though not always, incorporates vintage textures and typography, lending a sense of history and warmth to each piece. Every image begins the old-fashioned way, hand-drawn in pencil, then carefully colored and refined digitally, sometimes with additional layered textures. This hybrid process allows my work to remain expressive and handcrafted while offering the flexibility and versatility needed to meet a wide range of company and licensing needs.
